Post flyer, listserve, etc., in your neighborhood. There's someone in my neighborhood who bought a snow blower from Craigslist and when it snows, I send him a text right away because he usually gets a lot of requests. Good luck, for us, it's been a big help to have someone to help us. We have a two car driveway and small side walk. he charges us $40.

It depends on the neighborhood and the residents. I paid $60 to have my driveway, sidewalk and cars cleaned off. I have teenagers and they were not getting off of their @#$ and I did not feel like fighting with them. And, there are others who need the money so I paid a man and his son who stopped by. He proposed $60 and I did not counter. We do live in an affluent neighborhood so he probably figured he could get that amount. He shoveled our home, and two adjacent neighbors. He probably hit a few other houses too. The neighborhood list serve is a good way to advertise also. There are elderly people who need help and would welcome it.

FWIW, my wife & I are handicapped and not able to shovel snow. A few years ago, we had heavy snow here & a couple of guys came along & offered to shovel us out.
They shoveled our driveway, sidewalk, mailbox & front porch. There was 3 feet of snow on the ground & they got it done in an hour.
We gladly paid them $100 for doing it.
And we got a bargain for that.

Kids in our neighborhood charge $10 for 2 car spaces, sidewalk, and steps (townhouse community).

If you're not busy just go walk around and offer your services. I'm the lazy type who may never go the extra step of calling you and setting things up. But if you show up at my door or approach me when I'm struggling with the driveway myself, I'd say hell yes!

OP if you do this in the winter regularly I'd also sign on a part-timer with an official snow shoveling company. My condo building has a contract with one and they are ALWAYS prompt, professional and get it done in the early mornings.
