I'll freely admit that my older child is not gifted, but rather is a bright, hardworking, people pleaser with test scores in the mid 120s and a high GBRS. This child only "needs AAP" because all of the other bright, hardworking kids are also in AAP.
Right. Same for us and I saw what child #1 was getting in AAP and wanted it for my second.
