Agreed. Sounds like some modern day prank calling. It makes sense, considering the time the call was made. Probably some 13yo kids who learned how to spoof numbers and wanted to spook people.

The phone number was spoofed.

And who leaves voicemails anymore (besides my MiL; people over 65)?

I suspect my mom made a number of odd phone calls to wrong numbers with her cell phone while in the hospital. She had an infection and later a medicine change that resulted in some off the wall calls. The "I've called you 7 times already about this!" had me wondering who all she called, as it was her first call of the day. Plus, "Did you get my message about (insert something really crazy)?"

I'd make sure my doors were locked, delete the voicemail, and never think of it again. You have way too much free time if you're obsessed with this to the point of considering calling the woman.

Op, my house phone called someone once.

Caller ID showed my number. Problem was that I was sitting in that person's house at the time. Nobody was at my house.

Weird things happen.

The person was probably leaving a message for herself and misdialed the number to her house/cell phone.

I think it was a wrong number and the elderly lady probably has Alzheimers or something of that nature.
