ROckville, Maryland is nice too.
lots of routes to get into DC: Clara Barton Parkway, MacArthur, Massachusetts, River Road, and then to the east/downtown Bethesda there is obviously Wisconsin, Connecticut ave.

Do not move here and commute to DC
Not sure where that place, so I looked it up.
That's like 40 minutes NORTH of the top of the beltway in traffic and 90 minutes to downtown DC for a commute. No way.

I recommend Rockville in the Richard Montgomery High School District. Your family won't get bored in Rockville, plus the proximity to the red line will be beneficial for your commute. I also highly recommend the Quince Orchard or Wootton HS neighborhoods. You should be able to find homes there within your price range. Finally, Olney is great and it feeds into Sherwood HS. You won't go wrong with any of these schools. There are other schools I would recommend in MOCO but I was simply trying to narrow it down to those areas that would give you a decent commute to downtown and is within your price range.
There's no such thing.
Just to be clear- I meant Rockville neighborhoods that feed into Richard Montgomery HS. Sorry PP that this confused you.
