I had cancer at 45. Bad cancer, terrible prognosis.
My spouse has had two strokes. He’s 48 and fit. Why?
One of our kids is very ill. It’s disheartening.
Not all illness comes from Satan. Illness and disease occurs in humans regularly.
But 3 major illnesses in 2 years? In 2 adults under 50 and a 19 year old?
Definitely feel as if Satan is trying to get me to give up on God.
My therapist asks me how I keep my faith. She isn’t a Christian. I sense she feels many would.
No, I cling closer to the Savior. His victory over death, His love for us, it’s really all I have right now.
I can’t be angry at God. Satan would love for me to be.
My heart goes out to you sister. Keep your faith. Don't falter.
Thank you so much! It means the world to me, your kind words. Truly.
I keep my eyes on heaven and pray sometimes hourly or more for strength.
God will never abandon us. No matter what. He’s more real to me than ever, now. His words and the Bible are my rock. I’ll stand upon that rock until I no longer can, and pray His arms are there to receive me..
You stand too, sister. Don’t let the Enemy bring you down. Rebuke him in the name of God. Don’t let him steal your joy.
Simply knowing that our Lord already defeated the enemy makes me rejoice. All the horrors going on in the name of enemy will be crushed. There will be no trace of them. New Heaven and Earth will be created. Completely new. Free of all corruption, diseases, sorrow, and evil. I just hope I am worthy to dwell in the presence of the Most High. I will keep you, your husband, and your son in my prayer tonight.

Anonymous wrote:So, how are you tempted by Satan in your daily life? I feel tempted when I overeat, indulge in watching too many youtube videos, or get angry with inefficient bureaucracy. These things can lead me into sloth and anger. I recognize Satan's trap. I find that only through fasting and prayer I can resist.

Acknowledging the source of evil in the world isn’t a fixation.
People don’t talk about Satan. The posts here ask where sin comes from: Satan, and man’s willingness to ignore him.
Satan tempts us and utterly works against God.
Recognizing that is truth, not fixation.

First and foremost we must resist all temptations of the world, his world, as they are impermanent and deceitful. Yes, that includes politics. We are to love our brothers and sisters and our enemies and act accordingly. I do not need politicians, I do not need "churches" (I call them assemblies), I do not need new doctrines. But I do need the redeeming Power, Word, and Mercy of Jesus Christ.
Actually fellowship or membership in a church is a very important component of a healthy spiritual life, and is discussed thoroughly in the New Testament.
Also, is there anything more annoying than seeing a respectful disagreement and saying "Satan is having fun?" People are allowed to disagree.
I have fellowship with fellow believers. I usually don't joke about Satan but I couldn't resist seeing such a passionate insistance on politics.
