I was a Cappy Dick national prize winner. I won a set of World Book encyclopedias. Anybody here old enough to remember Cappy Dick?

My friend took the trip across the stage willingly, but I being a bit neurotic needed a lot of coaxing and refused to go at first out of genuine stage fright... the audience was roaring since they thought it was all staged... I reluctantly crossed, only after much encouragement from the audience and the clown was pulling on my arm. Turns out I am a comedic natural... the entire crowd was roaring, with laughter... My 15 minutes of fame! The actual show it self was a snooze fest. I think I fell asleep about 20 mins into the show... but before that it was a true great time!

I've always wondered if things like this are staged. I saw something like this in Vegas as well. I remember thinking thank goodness I didn't get picked if it happened to be real.

The premise was that you had to submit a cooking predicament to Emeril, who would shop with you and teach you a few recipes to resolve the “conflict.” It aired on Planet Green on cable maybe 8 years ago. We filmed it in the giant Whole Foods in Fairfax, got to hang out with Emeril a bit. He was laid back and cool. We also got to take all the food home!

We love Emeril! For some reason the kids were always very entertained by him when they were really little. So cool that you were on the show!

I was on MTV. The documentary of "Fat Camp Part 2". I was a counselor not overweight myself. I did an AMA a long time ago in here.

I never, ever want any fame. Never. Kudos to anyone who wants fame. They're welcome to it.

I work in law enforcement and received an errant, wrong number text message requesting that I engage in criminal activity. I played along and the person got arrested for a serious crime. The story was in hundreds of national news outlets, including the New York Post, Washington Post, NY Times, and many other big cities. As well as some online news and feature sites like BroBible. When I Google myself it is now the only thing that comes up for pages and pages.

Love it! I was in a very popular commercial overseas that helped pay for grad school. When I travel to that region, sometimes people call out my commercial's catchphrase want to take pictures with me. I could see it getting annoying if it happened at home but it's fun when I'm travelling.

Please tell us what the catch phrase was! Because in my head it's, "Madge! I soaked in it!"

This happened to us once at a popular dc restaurant. They thought my husband was a silent partner. The chef came out at the end of the meal and was peeved.

By total freak accident, I got a hole-in-one at the firm golf outing as a 1st yr associate in big law. I haven’t so much as won $1 on a scratch off ticket in the 20 yrs since. But it paved my way at the firm. Top schools, clerkship, above average writing skills, good on my feet etc etc, but guess what partners and clients always wanted to talk about?
