What are you talking about? If your eyebrows look like they put there with magic marker, you paid $250 for the service. I went to Dollistic in McLean and my eyebrows look amazing! $1100. You get what you pay for.

Just a note. I am getting microblading and permanent makeup done by the owner and get one free touch up per service and a discount for getting both services done at the same time. I am literally giving the discount back as a tip. She teaches other professionals as well, and her reviews are stellar. (I know people who have gone to her).

I didn't do the tipping for microblading, when I saw the add said $300 then she charged me $350, then there is 50 for tipping.

I was wondering the same thing, if you still tip 15%. the person I'm going to charges $500.00.

I think it makes a difference if the person is the owner or an employee: the owner gets the full amount from you, and the employee gets a low hourly wage. That is the reason we tip: to supplement the low wage employee. So definitely tip the employee. You can still tip the owner if you want to, but I'd say it is not necessary.... they should have priced the procedure correctly.

YES you always tip. These people pay their own health insurance, retirement, and space rental etc. It is considered very rude to not tip your microblading artist.

No even if the owner is providing the service you tip it doesn’t matter who provides the service we all work for a living including the owner

I didn't tip women travels to each salon but is self employed and at a cost of $650 I did not tip...the cost of service was enough even for the area I live in.
