Two years ago we were one of last to get the mailing. This year, looks like it may be the same. Nothing here today, which means earliest will be Monday.

I really don't understand why MCPS hasn't moved to electronic notification so everyone really does find out at the same time.

Our kid group who have been together since kindergarten are all in a group chat and when each of them get letters they snap a pictutre and send it to the group. Not bragging...just sharing info with their friends. Normal...

Yes. And not all the kids are bragging about the results in public. Most are just texting "got it" and pming each other.

I know Monday will be tough for my kid who didn't get in but glad there are a couple of days to process.

They've really been trying to go for the Saturday arrival so that kids are at home with parents. A couple years ago the letters arrived on Friday and some parents opened them and then texted kids results (good and bad!) during school hours. Kids that got in were bragging, kids that didn't were crushed (and some got made fun of), kids that didn't know were freaking out - it was an awful day for the kids in the magnet program. Please, tell your children not to share results, especially over social media, for a few days. I know that eventually they all share, because they want to know which schools their friends are going to. But this weekend and Monday are really tough days for so many students.

Kid got letter from Blair stem and was rejected. She did poorly on test scoring around half as she ran out of time and did not complete all the questions.

We remember this day well. Good luck to all.
