If we think a rough few years is a good reason to throw out democracy, we really are doomed.

Which you claim not to like.

So your call for more makes no sense.

Democracy is too much work for most citizens. Back to watching the NFL and reality shows.

^^^^Every word of this right here. ^^^^

Tech world is the same way. There is ZERO tolerance for any ideology or outlook other than progressivism. It's just not permitted. If you're a conservative at a tech company, you literally have to hide your beliefs, and actively deny them if challenged on it. Your social media profile has to be carefully managed and constantly edited to erase any evidence, connections or affiliations with conservatives or Christians. Meanwhile, progressives in the same office can walk from desk to desk talking politics and sending all-emails soliciting campaign donations on behalf of democrat politicians.

I've seen it, I've lived it.

Progressivism IS facism.

Democracy is wonderful in concept, but in practice it leads to dysfunctional, frozen government and President Camacho. Particularly with the current White House resident, tell me exactly why an enlightened fascist would not do a better job?

So, when you work for Russia's Internet Research Agency, do you actually get to meet Putin? In that kind of setting, is he pretty cool?

Also: I think you folks need to get a consulting firm to check public awareness of your references. Some of them seem to be too obscure to get much traction.
