That is disgusting. McConnell should be ASHAMED.

What's to stop the Dems from forcing another cloture vote?

What does that mean for those of us who don't watch MSNBC? They folded? They were supposed to be working the bipartisan deal. If the bipartisan deal is dead then we're back at a stalemate, and the shutdown continues, right?

NP. Folded meaning they’ll vote for a “clean” CR tomorrow at 12noon that doesn’t include DACA. I think it does include 6y reauth of CHIP.

does it include anything regarding caps?

i think the house version on friday included something on lifting the caps for the military and funding it for a yaer.

Flake and Graham are saying that Schumer is now on his own to line up votes against tomorrow’s vote. There were a few Dems that sided with the GOP.

Schumer has his work cut out for him.

Umm, that's not really how serious, good faith negotiations work.

If I were a Dem I would include a provision in the bill to remove Mitch McConnell from Senate leadership if DACA doesn't come to a vote within 30 days time. Force them to make good on their promises.

The public is still laying the blame at the feet of Republicans. They know that Trump keeps changing his mind. McConnell said so, Graham said so.

schumer shouldn't agree to anything.

If the promise is to pass a short term bill to reopen the government but "promise" to deal with DACA (and CHIP) then they should put something seriously punitive to the GOP into the bill if they don't follow through with their promise.

Flake looks like Charlie Brown. Maybe this time Lucy will not snatch the football away/McConnell will bring a vote on DACA. Maybe.

It will be so nice when Arizona replaces him with a Democrat in ten months.
