So do you also get early releases of the videos or just wait months for them to come out like those "low, low class" Redbox watchers?
I'm a SAG-AFTRA member. I see current releases in my home. If you can tolerate an occasional "for your consideration" chyron banner during your viewing, it more than makes up for not having to deal with sticky floors, talking people and all the other things that make public theaters unbearable

Several times I made a loud shhhhh sound. I heard them stop but then they would start up again, i felt my nerves on edge the second half of them movie anticipating their next "conversation". Even to a point where when one scene came on in Europe they started to talk about having been there! It was very annoying and I don't know why I did not turn around and say could you PLEASE for the love of God stop talking. I know many would right? What would you have done? It is so disrespectful!
I have no problem confronting people in a movie theater. I would have said, “I’ve paid good money to watch this movie without distraction. Please stop talking entirely or leave.”

I would love to go there, but I can’t get my husband to not look at his phone during a movie.
He needs to be tossed too.
+1. That is so distracting. You and he shouldn’t see movies in the theater until he can control himself.

Anonymous wrote:You got yourself in a tizzy and kept going “humph!” and shot dirty looks and are largely to blame that you had a bad time. I guarantee you the other people had a good time and never gave you a second thought. Roll with the punches in life, and you’ll be much happier.
No, I don’t talk in movies. I just don’t sweat these things.

We totally deserved it. Sincerely apologized, were embarrassed. But then even though we were stone-quiet the rest of the time - -the other couple wouldn't let it go ...continued making ugly comments and glaring at us. It was like they went looking for this kind of confrontation to fill their day.
