I started an accountability bullet journal. It's like a little kid sticker chart, but with all of the things I need to keep up with in order to feel better.

Here are some of the things I'm tracking:
- balanced diet
- gym or other exercise separate from walking
- sleep
- water
- taking meds on time
- cooking a meal at home
- cleaning a room per day
- outdoor walk

I color in the box if I accomplished it that day. It sounds simplistic, but it helps keep me accountable, and I get to see the things I did accomplish, even if it's not everything on my list.

DP - I make better food choices because I have a vision of a future in which I am healthy, in good shape, etc. Which makes it worth foregoing some immediate pleasure. If you have clinical depression its hard to envision or believe in or care about a better future of any kind. So its natural to focus on immediate gratification (in some forms of depression - in others there is no desire for immediate gratification, because there is just no desire).

So to solve this you need to EITHER A. treat the depression or B. find techniques that are easy, that can work for someone with the low hope/energy/motivation of depression.

Ok then my Clinical Depression is making it hard for me to make good food choices and find the energy to exercise. Please see my update. I've changed meds for two days and o already feel better. I can't wait to see where I will be in 4 weeks!

Depression is not making you fat op. Eating too many of the wrong foods and not exercising enough is making you fat. This is an important distinction. You need to recognize and own it.

Update!! This is my second day on Wellbutrin! I already feel so much better! Not back to normal but i already have better energy. Thank you to all who were nice and supportive.

I will go work out tomorrow around 10AM then walk the dogs.
