Agreed. Unless you get out 3 weeks earlier by not using snow days, then those snow days are not "built in". When you miss school because of the weather, you are missing school. Period. It affects how much material you learn. Every time I hear one of my LCPS peeps say "But we have 15 days built in", I just want to scream.


Me too! But these same parents love all the closures, which I don’t get. I love spending time with my kids, and I love proper snow days wth sledding and snowmen, but most are just pointless.



Why no delay? It's one degree below freezing this morning and there is still moisture on the ground.
