I would have gone and banged on the bathroom door in a startlingly loud manner and shouted that dinner was starting. Then actually started dinner.

I would smile and say, "Well, I'm going to go ahead and eat this food while it's still warm. Please don't think that you have to wait for Stan to get to the table before you dig in."
