DH and I are pretty direct. Of course there are times it just happens but to be honest, if it’s been a few days and we’ve both been really busy, we’ll make a plan to do it the next day, like a date. Otherwise I feel like it can be really easy to fall into the “I’m so tired, maybe tomorrow” grind of life. When he makes the plan with me, it lets me know he’s been thinking of me and isn’t avoiding it, and vice versa.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the direct approach.
Sometimes direct is best and all the dancing around is just silly.

Don't get me wrong romance, teasing and all the build up have their place, but sometimes it's nice just to get down to it.

I think that's one of the best things about a relationship.
