Wow, having black on black violence doesn't make it better. When did this happen? Does Churchill has the same principle?


That principal retired and was known to not only be very ineffective but stayed way past her expiration date. Please stop with the "Black on Black" crime.

Not sure living in a slum called the snakes Den until it was condemned and turned into public housing out of pity in the 70s counts as a long and rich history but I guess you need to hold on to what you got when you have nothing. Still the worse part of Potomac that produces the largest percentage of dropouts, suspensions and trouble makers at Churchill out of any neighborhood.

The stereotypes have no place here. Just becausse the neighborhood skews BIPOC and low-income doesn't mean we judge a whole group.

So it certainly seems like they are making the effort for special education students, whatever the results show.


Cabin John houses LFI, Autism, and SCB. These are all separate, self-contained programs that require a lot of staffing. And all of these programs are certificate-track, not diploma, so the kids' test scores are not counted with the rest of the school.

This is about test scores not SN kids. Some of our SN kids do very well in testing.

If your kid has special education needs you should research the programs and determine the best fit. Test scores are a ridiculous way to make this decision.

It was a while ago - 11years, but the Principal is still there.

Most of those are paraeducators and they may be assigned to specific kids. Most are not teachers but it looks like they have a strong autism program there, which is great.
