The only correct answer is the Muppets’ version. Also it is one of the closest versions to the book.

Scrooged and Muppets Christmas Carol.

1938 version with Gene Lockhart, his wife and daughters June as the Cratchits. Hands down. It’s a must every year.

And their son played the lead in the movie Singles, and was Kira Sedgwick’s love interest.

My dad makes us watch Scrooge every year, and I can recite that one line by line. George C Scott is the perfect Scrooge.

Fun fact, he was married to Colleen Dewhurst, who played Marilla Cuthburt in the Anne of Green Gables series. Love her too.

As someome who likes the novella, for me it's the Muppets, and it's because I like that they have Gonzo deliver some of the best lines from the book.

I subjected my teens to Scrooged last night in search of Christmas movie they hadn’t seen yet and it was godawful. Does not hold up at all.
