/Q how do you do it cheaply? Any tips for best rates? Do you make dinner in the room and how do you bring in lunch?/q

My post above. I googled for coupon/savings. I get a discount through work. Their newsletter gives discounts.

We have done a variety of meals. we have: microwavedd take out Chinese bought before arriving, made sandwiches and kept them in the cooler, taken in pizza and eaten it cold, brought in sandwich fixings and made in our room. My kids dont mind nuked McD’s. The fridge is a good size and we travel w a cooler always.

The strong chlorine smell gave me an immediate headache. And I don’t get headaches often. So pack some Advil just in case. If your little ones are fussing the chlorine smell might be giving them a headache too. Just a FYI

Oh, and the food is beyond gross. I've never had such bad food. They even screw up breakfast!

My kids love it there, but I hate it. lol

The MagiQuest will drive you nuts - you have to pay for the wand, the wand topper, then the game itself. Then you run around the hotel with a million other people shaking the wand at things to get them to waken, and the wand won't work, your kid will cry, blah blah blah. I HATE MAGIQUEST. lol

The waterpark is fine - great for little kids (someone mentioned why go there instead of a traditional park - it's because GWL is geared for a younger crowd and is easier to watch your kids).

I get irritated at GWL because they typically don't offer discounts for the largest suite they offer.

I hate these things, but my kids love them, they are very fun, and two days completely changes my kids. And we do it very cheaply.
