I'd never buy these things myself, and they are good quality. This was years ago when they were trendy.

The best was a beach towel. It's still in use 10 years later (albeit as a dog towel).
The worst was a foam thing that wrapped around the handle of your rolling suitcase ... I guess as a grip cushion? Memorably useless.
If you're planning something -- good quality office supplies are the best return, because I'll use them all the time and think you did a nice job picking good stuff.
