Why do men do it? Because we can. I'm 52, divorced, and can easily get a date for every day of the week (some of them in their 20s).

His new girlfriend is absolutely adorable but so young that he looks like her dad in pictures. I take solace in the fact that he wasn’t great in bed and didn’t like to go down... (which should have been my dealbreaker from the beginning). He was also a narcissist and very selfish.
Makes it easier to deal with when you focus on their flaws!
He's going down now on his sweet young thing.

I missed him so much. 15 years have passed, I’m married with a family, and he never married. Just offering empathy, bc after all this time I remember the pain. But as PPs have said, he was not who I though he was, so I was in love with just a fantasy. hugs.
So many of my exes wanted me back after I moved on. They love a challenge. Never give too much of yourself. That is what I learned and now am happily married.

Anyone care to offer words of support and encouragement? I could really use some right now.

If you want to be with ugly chicks in their twenties go for it. They enjoy taking your money.
They aren't ugly (or fat) and they aren't into my money.
When I was a young man in my early 20s, at least two of my friends were dating men 20+ years older than them. One of the women was a solid 9, the other was a 6 (and she's actually hotter now). I didn't think it strange that they were dating, or living with, men 25 years older than them.

Maybe women truly enjoy sex and don't think of it as being used.
