When my husband almost had an affair, he claimed that he just became obsessed with figuring out if she was in to him. Thus curiosity can lead bad places and who really cares what the answer is?

My brother is a single dad and is very involved with his kids pre-school. I love to hear his stories about getting hit on by the moms in not very subtle ways. He's very good looking and successful but I assume most of these women are married. He did say that one of the single teachers is very cute but that dating a parent is a no-no.

First, be faithful to your wife.

Second, if you cannot or won't follow the first adage, at least have enough respect for your wife not to do this at your kids' school.

Third, similarly, have enough respect for your kids not to use their school as your pick up bar.

I have been pursued before... and didn’t take them up on the “offer”... but this situation is different. Her husband is a very nice guy... And I would not want to be the other guy... And the odd thing is that they seem like a good couple..

So yes you could falsely assume that I am only after one thing.. I am just wondering how to safely verify her intentions based on the scenario.

I recently had my third baby and my brother, who works, locally, drove my son to kindergarten for almost three weeks. He's single, 29, very good looking and very successful. (serious marriage material). I was stunned when he told me how many of the mom's hit on him. I laughed and said they were just being nice until he told me about a couple of the invitations he had received. His comment was "so women get married, have a kid and then don't get laid?" Since I had just had my third baby in less than four years I told him that that wasn't my problem.

So you just want to confirm that she finds you attractive and that she would cheat on her husband - and that's good enough for you? So it's just an ego boost on your part?

Slippery slope. After awhile, you'll want to see if she will do more than text.


OP here. I agree. I am not looking for having an affair with her. But I hope that we could be friends because she is interesting and we seem to have similar interests.
