Large Dem turnout downstate as well.
I think one thing that has happened is reasonable people who voted Republican in the past have fled the party in horror.

I'm pretty sure that if the tax rates remained the same on all the wealthy liberals, those making $300k and up (so no tax breaks for the rich), the affluent liberals on DCUM would still complain about having their SALT deduction capped.

Cville and Albemarle typically vote Dem and so far our turn out is 5% higher than 2013, hopefully it increases.
