Yes my MIL does normally. It sometimes makes me uncomfortable, I'm not sure why. She normally gets us a gift and it always catches me so off guard. I know I should see this as sweet but for some reason it feels manipulative. I have a feeling this is due to past history....

My mom is random about it. Sometimes skips and sometimes sends us money and tells us to go out to celebrate. Very nice but I don't expect it at all!

My mom, yes. She offers to babysit so we can go on a date. Everyone else, including my dad, no.

We forgot our anniversary the last two years- it's just another date to us- I wouldn't expect anyone else t remember it. I don't remember anybody else's either

They did this year, because it was our tenth. Otherwise, no. (And I don’t expect them to.)

First couple of years they did, but now I think they are relieved not to have to. So many gift giving holidays. I welcome loosing a few.

Not weird at all and your MIL sounds like a thoughtful person.

We call them and they call us. Same with my sister & BIL. Of course, we all see each other practically every day anyway but my mom always calls and sings "Happy Anniversary" and vice versa. My MIL never sang but she always called. No gift exchange for any of the anniversaries.

My ILs did for a while. My parents never did but they never celebrated their own anniversary. We go out to dinner. No gifts.

No. I certainly don't expect anyone but me and DH to acknowledge our anniversary.

Yes, sometimes, which is nice.
But personally, after the 1st anniversary, I think it is a totally private holiday between husband and wife. No one else need remember.
We tell our kids and go out to dinner that day, and that's it.

They give us $5,000. But they also give us $5,000 on each of our birthdays and $10,000 at Christmas. It's basically just estate planning but they like to do it on special occasions.
