Is it really possible to be a terrible husband and a great father? Being disrespectful or abusive to one’s spouse disqualifies them from being a good father, IMO.

Yes! Absolutely! I could only be so lucky!

I snapped him up when we see young and he was a dorky guy and we were both broke grad students.

He’s now an awesome father, quite the athlete and earns a ton of money who spoils me daily.

I got lucky when we met at 22. Damn good luck.

Yes! We got married at 20 and are now 50. After 30 years he still gives me goosebumps when he touches me. He is smart, successful, committed, a great dad and now grandad, my best friend, and still so sexy! We actually just renewed our vows. I kinda did marry him again.

Same here.

But if you mean I met this single 38 yo XYZ guy w the accent, great job, self made I'd think Maybe. I now have ADHD filters so wouldn't fall for any new guy like this

No. He's not a bad husband or father but he has bad qualities that have taken there toll on me over the years and have caused me to not trust in anything he says or does.
