People who have trouble with parking are fine if they park farther away, or avoid street parking on busy streets.

Distracted drivers like OP's wife are a bigger problem because they could be driving down their own street and be totally distracted and slam into someone in the next lane. I was hit by a completely distracted neighbor who came barreling out of their driveway/gate at top speed without looking while on the phone.

They're just fender benders until she kills someone or gets in a serious accident, which is inevitable if she's distracted, not checking when she turns, and getting in multiple accidents.
