UVM is a fine school in an extradinary location. Burlington had a crunchy but sophisticated New England vibe. This is a place that you will either love or not . when you visit. It is well funded, and while expensive classes are small, professors are accessible and Students seem to work hard and enjoy themselves too.

Heavy pothead culture, tons of out-of-state students who pay nearly private tuition, not especially distinguished.
