I don't think he's required to feud with them or refuse to go to office social events because they happen to be there. I don't think he's even required to be unfriendly. He still works there after all. And if he can't get along with people overall, he's going to have to find a new job.

But . . . he probably is required to dislike a group of people who attacked you (regardless of their gender). Doesn't mean he should be a dick to them in social settings; it does mean he probably shouldn't be planning special outings with them and acting like besties. what's up?

They’re not office events, it’s several coworkers getting together for lunch/happy hour. He’s the only guy in the office they invite.

He probably just likes the female attention. It’s still a dick move.

I would be really mad if I were in your shoes OP!!

These women tried to get you fired!
They are your worst enemies by far.

And for him to socialize w/them claiming it is a-okay because they had issues w/you....Not him is completely out of line.

You are married so you are a unit now, a team.
So anyone who has been mean to you should automatically be his enemy!

Your husband does not possess the loyalty he should.
And I find this to be very problematic.

Your husband should be more sensitive to you.
If it makes you uncomfortable, he should respect that. And vice-versa. In marriage, you do what's in the best interest of the other. I hope he comes to see that. Take care.

To this day, I have no idea what the reason was.

So they could have DH all to themselves, and now they've got him... see?
