I am not a bad driver - always looking out for pedestrians and never in an accident. Sometimes you have to just thank your lucky stars that nothing happened.

You were in the wrong. You pulled around a car at a stop sign? And then nearly ran down a pedestrian?

Sorry...not wrong. The guy was not stopped at the stop sign. He was pulled over next to the stop sign. Illegally parked, so to speak.

Now you are changing the facts that you stated earlier. I don't care how you phrase it, if you pull out from a stop sign and run over a kid crossing the street, it's nobody's fault but your own.
