Good for Corker for belatedly speaking the truth with his "adult daycare" remarks. It's becoming more acceptable to talk about Trump's mental state now. Anyone who has experienced a parent with Alzheimer's or dementia can see some warning signs with our President.

They don’t want to face voters in ’18 or ’20 without something to show for it.

This is the key: establishment republicans are scared for their jobs, so they are blaming Trump for upsetting their cozy little apple carts.

Fiscal policy is the only thing that makes me a Republican....welcome to the party.

Th proposed tax plan is one that you approve of? It's good fiscal policy to you?

+1 that ^PP R is a moron. That tax policy will increase this country's debt.

What about GOOD fiscal policy? The proposed plan will balloon the debt and only spike the economy by about .4%

Doesn't seem worth it at all.

Actually Goldman Sachs is estimating it will only boost GDP by between 0.1 and 0.2% for two years with no impact beyond that. Laughable (or Laffer-able!).

An economist with a sense of humor. Crappy pun, but you aren’t totally lost to your slide rule.

Question if the day: can I fully enjoy my tax cut from a nuclear fallout shelter or in some post-nuclear society?

The entire lot of Republicans needs to go. Seriously. Dereliction of duty.

Get the money out of politics and raise qualifications for candidates. Start over. I bet they’d be relieved to go.

This.

It is truly appalling that Republicans think he'd start a nuclear war with literally no reason.

I hope every single sick one of you Trump voters is made to apologize to your friends and family. You did this. We warned you.

I am envisioning you as Poldark’s Aunt as I read this over and over.

Aunt Agatha is awesome.

+1

Love her. She'd spit on Trump and curse him. Along with his idiot supporters.

The GOP should realize that if they can show the backbone to do the right thing before it is too late, even before passing all the crap they hope to smuggle through, they may actually win voters.

If they wait, putting everyone at risk of life and limb, just to pass some laws that will be easily undone by the next administration, they are doomed.
