Not a bill OP. Just a vague plan. Trump doesn't do policy. He's an impotent President.

Seems to me it's the legal immigrants who are angry with the illegals - and for good reason. I'm all for going after business owners who hire them. Please do!

You don't know any Latinos.

OP here, and I realize that was just the summary, I've been looking for the actual list of points but thus far haven't found them. (I'd like to see them delineated, as well, as I'm sure that even I would disagree with a few.) I'll look again a little later this morning.

I can't find the actual memo/bill either

These daca kids have been here since they were babies. How is it fair to tie their fate to this? That shows a lack of decency. Explain that. Then also explain how taxpayers are supposed to pay billions for a wall that trump promised Mexico would pay for? You people are clueless and, yes, "hateful".

Another sick part of it is that this is a proposal that is purposely designed to go nowhere. Purposely. It's a feature, not a bug. The people in charge of making the government function have no interest in a functional government -- just in scoring political points.

Are we gonna get that utopian 1950's apple pie, American paradise again we saw on leave it to beaver, Cletus?

And out comes the "brown" remark. Why do liberals always revert to that unfounded accusation and pull the ridiculous race card all the time?

And as far as my responding to posts, I thought since I started the thread, and asked conservatives their opinion,it was only polite to respond to them. But then again, I was raised with manners. You clearly were not - accusing strangers of racism when you have no other defense. Remember what Obama said? Election s have consequences, and people voted to control the out-of-control immigration problem, particularly with those who break our laws, instead of caring more about illegal immigrants than the working class struggling to get by.

No need to argue how illegal immigrants are a net positive to our country, even though they have an average 10th grade education. You have plenty of other threads to dump on those of us who want to see laws enforced.

Ha ha there's the riled up op again. Calm down! I can imagine the veins in your forehead are throbbing in frustration. trump's agenda has been stymied at ever my turn, and this hatefully proposed policy memo will be no different. The vast majority of the country aren't angry little wall fans. You keep spinning your wheels if it makes you feel better. And yes, trump is a terrible mixture of xenophobia with white supremacist leanings. That you can't see that speaks volumes.

Now THIS is the main issue that got Trump the win - reasonable laws that put American citizens before illegal immigrants, or immigrants in general, when determining who is admitted to our country, other than those seeking assylum (which must be better proven). While the proposal in its entirety might seem far-reaching, it's an excellent starting point for negotiations with the D's who want to protect DACA.

I'm sure the libsters will pick apart the points they disagree with (which will be many) and use this to viciously attack Trump voters once again, but....fellow conservatives....don't you believe much of this is just common sense?

"hooray" indeed. You sound quite pleased, almost foaming at the mouth, at using the daca kids as leverage to build a useless, money wasting wall. This administration is inept and will fail at this, but keep writing long winded diatribes if it helps you get out your xenophobic wet dreams.

...OP here, and as expected, out comes a hateful liberal with the tiresome attack of racist.

Ha! I'm not hateful, who keeps pushing that word? It's so tiresome. I'm angry that you trump dunces now agree to pay for a wall Mexico was supposed to pat for. You people are such desperate idiots.

You call people who voted for Trump dunces and desperare idiots, and you don't think you sound hateful?

Let's just start calling it President Miller's plan. Then Trump will fire him, too.
