The people who say they only care about looking good for their husband...
My friends who say that don't put any effort into their appearance and look like crap but their husbands are of course not going to say this to their faces.

If you ACTUALLY look good for your husband, that means you put in effort and other people will think you look good too.

I've noticed that when I'm wearing makeup I get a lot of attention and random help (like door holding from strangers). When I'm looking ugly people ignore me basically and I feel bad about myself.
That's so interesting. I have a similar experience except that I like being invisible! I hate when people look at me, so unless I am going somewhere special I keep things minimal.

I like being not ugly, people are just nicer. I am not willing to put in the effort to be "hot" though. Reasonably pretty is good enough.
