Yep. I do believe that when it comes to calories, 100g of proten is the same as carbs. Now, maybe some carbs will spike your insulin and make you more hungry and likely to overeat. But that is not the same as calories in vs. calories out
High protein diets work because you're taking in fewer calories for the most part.. But in the meantime, If you were to eat that level of protein at a higher amount of calories with no weight lifting, you would get fat.
