Can you submit to insurance? They may cover at least part of it.

Yup. Twice. Everything is normal. I am going to an OB next week, I'll ask him to do some more blood work. I'll have my thyroid checked again.

My insurance covered the ultrasound since I was pregnant and the D&C and the confirmation ultrasounds before it. I do NOT have ART coverage on my insurance so I was surprised but maybe that is a route to consider

I agree with you and it's pretty f*cking greedy. Call the office manager and fight the bill. Ridiculous.



They make money even off death. IVF industry is one greedy hellhole.

I was told to try CQ10 and magnesium by my acupuncturist for migraines years ago and it absolutely made a difference. I picked up Ubiquinol from GNC last night. My vitamin D was pretty low when I first started with an RE so I've been taking supplements ever since. Maybe I'll pick up some Omega 3's.

Did you find that the CoQ10 helped with your migraines? Regular ubiquinol is better absorbed by the body than regular ubiquinone. However, a water and fat soluble form of CoQ10 provides even better absorption.

Vitamin D, DHA fish oil, and prenatal with folate (especially if you have MTHFR mutation) are other good supplements to look into.

Dr. Greenhouse change my protocol too after the first failed IVF. I was over-surpressed and he took me off the BC pills. I responded better, but it was still unsuccessful.

Maybe see if you can Google around and get CCRM's recommended supplements list? My first cycle with them, I got zero normal embryos. My second with them, I got 5! The only changes were one med and I used their recommended supplements (especially look into the acai berries). Seems like nobody has a good explanation for the variation in egg quality between cycles so hopefully your next will be more successful too!
