Thanks!

Thank you for posting this couch. This is perfect for us.

Get a neutral color - any of the greys or cream colors will work with most decor. If you really want something to make a statement pick the navy couch.

It's much easier to find complimentary color palettes with navy than with sage. You're going to get sick of that color in a few years tops.

Since you have such a neutral sofa, you should select a rug with more vibrant colors.

PS, I have medium brown leather chairs too. ANd the noguchi table I mentioned in a previous post. And a plant. Your room may end up resembling our family room!

The couch is a plain "oatmeal" type color. I'm not sure how it's looking on your screen. You don't think it will work with a gray rug? The walls are grayge (?) and the floor is a medium golden oak.

Oh, sorry--I thought you picked the one in a previous post with the palm leaf type print.

I think a medium brown leather chair will work much better.

No, I don't really think the other rugs will go based on how the couch and rugs are looking on my monitor. I opened up multiple windows to see, and it looks to me like the couch is more beige and slightly warm, and the majority of the rugs are a cooler grey, not a warmer greige, if that makes sense? That's why I think a contrast will work better. FWIW, I had the same issue with my couch and rug. My first rug was a textured one with different colors so it "pulled" one of the sofa colors, and that looked fine. When I replaced that one, I went with a contrast, more similar to this (but not this one, I can't find the one I bought)

I just reread your post. Thanks again for your feedback. I do think the black one might work, but it doesn't look soft! Do you have any other suggestions?
