Subject: Friendly Mormons
Our last nanny was Mormon (we're Jewish). She and her family were very involved in the church, but I didn't get the sense they followed every single rule all the time. Never tried to convert me, enjoyed celebrating Jewish holidays with us, had us over sometimes ...
Really nice people with a good set of values as far as education and treating others well. I hate the missionary aspect of the church, but we just never talked about that, even when her friends and relatives went away on a mission.

Wouldn't she have learned their names then?
Have you seen a LDS nametag? They're easily recognizable as such, but I'm sure the elderly mother wasn't focusing on their names (which are hard to read from a distance, white lettering on black background).
