Is a toxic waste site like this something realtors must disclose?
Property ownership is public record, so this is very easy to answer. It looks like there are 24 houses on Tovito Drive and 3 houses on Convento Terrace that are owned by Texaco.
So they rent them out to unsuspecting tenants?

Um yeah. This has to be disclosed to buyers, right?

The house may be a little overpriced, but not dramatically so.

The price was okay for the neighborhood then, if I'm remembering correctly. I have to assume something was wrong with the interior then If they wouldn't show it. Looks like they updated kitchens and baths now. I think it's a bit overpriced now.
its way over priced, you can buy the same sqft within the same zipcode for 700k, why would i pay 830k+ for this home?
Mantua gets a premium over other neighborhoods in the zip code, primarily because of the elementary school. The house may still be a bit overpriced, but it will go for significantly more than $700k.
No, elementary school does not make a 50-100k difference in price tag

It's a pretty neighborhood. Very much sought after if the house is priced right and the Condition is good. The oil spill affected a small portion of the neighborhood over 20 years ago. No big deal.
