Everyone has a type they're attracted to. That doesn't mean that type is the best; just the best for them.

My husband dumped a blonde girlfriend, then many months passed, then he and I started dating and ultimately married. I have brown hair.

NP/Different Poster - I'm Indian and I don't know why you would say such an idiotic thing but hey, it's a free country.

I've dated women of all colors and I married a white woman - a gorgeous brunette with slightly olive skin (yes, our kids are beautiful). Blondes never stood out to me over and beyond others.

Go to a private Baptist school (I attended one) if you want rich, blonde, chunky, and not particularly bright.

The Donald's current wife is not blond, so blonde is apparently no longer a status symbol.

Depends on your demographic. Where I come from, white blonde women are considered whores...too far off from the truth in reality. Only men from low class families marry them.

Anyways: I definitely think marrying a very attractive woman is (for some) seen as a status symbol. But would not say hair color is a determining factor - between a guy married to an average looking, average weight woman who happens to be blonde and one married to a beautiful, fit woman with darker features, the second guy "wins".
