She is 19 years older than him.
They've been together 8 years and seem to be very happy and in love. They have 2 kids.
8 years is nothing really
They're still married and happy with 2 young kids that bodes well to me especially when so many young couples divorce when the kids are still in diapers.
They've lasted twice as long as other couples that got together the same time who were closer in age.
Don't compare everything against the worst cases. 8 years is not a long marriage. You can't know how happy they are from the outside.
Maybe lots of people doubted their union so they try extra hard to act happy and in love. You really have no idea.
NP here. But what is wrong with you? Why do you need so desperately to believe that this couple isn't happy and that they'll eventually break up?
Did your ex leave you for an older woman?
No, I have been married for 21 years. I find it funny someone thinks 8 years is long. That was honeymoon time.

He's an old soul who never wanted kids. She rebuffed him for a solid year of pursuit because of the age gap.
They've been married almost 20 years now and are quite honestly a most perfect couple. You don't really notice the age difference when you're with both of them since they are so well matched.

Whoa! The WOMAN is nearly 20 years older??
How old were they when they met?
How'd they get around all the reservations about the woman being the much older one?
My cousin was 20 and she was 39. There was a lot of tension and arguments on both sides, My aunt had a lot of not nice things to say about her son's choice in partner they were estranged for awhile. Eloped ( sort of) I knew about the wedding. Family relations started to improve 6 years ago when their 1st was born.
20 and 39????!!!! He was a kid!
I could see 30 & 49, but why would an adult woman want to deal with a kid she couldn't even take to a bar???
