I agree. I think Taylor does romance songs best. I love her love lyrics.
"Say you'll remember me/standing in a white dress/ staring at the sunset/
red lips and rosy cheeks/say you'll see me again even if its just in your wildest dream"
or
"I was riding shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car,
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel,
The other on my heart,
I look around, turn the radio down, he says, "baby is something wrong?"
I say "nothing, I was just thinking how we don't have a song, "
And he says,
Our song is a slamming screen door,
Sneaking out late tapping on your window,
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow,
'Cause it's late and your mama don't know,
Our song is the way you laugh,
The first date man I didn't kiss her when I should have,
And when I got home, before I said amen,
Asking God if He could play it again."
SOO much better than "Look what you made me do"
What song is that second lyric from? I really like it.

I feel like at some point, she should be showing some personal growth and I'm just seeing it. At what point does she decide that she's done calling out ex-boyfriends and rival singers and actually sing about something real and not shallow?
(and no, not some jealous hater, just think that when a person is putting their lifestyle and their work out in the public eye, it is our right to form opinions about it.)
+1
She has not demonstrated any emotional or artistic growth. She is a 28 year old mega successful artist and business woman. Surely she views the world as the complex ecosystem that it is. I do not sense that from her music. She seems perpetually stuck at 16 screaming revenge on mean girls who steal her man.
GROW UP.

He is disgusting and he is Kim's problem, not Taylors. Taylor will continue to shine because she has insane talent, something kimye can only dream of.
What talent?
My daughter, who's 13, dropped her when she was in elementary school. Her voice is awful!
