We're going to Gatlinsburg for the weekend then driving into the zone on Monday morning. I would love to be at a National park or a but I tend not to be a planner so I missed the window to book it. So excited.

We spent the past week in a place that will be in the path of totality. All other things being equal, I would have chosen to go at a time when the eclipse is happening, but given that there could very well be clouds obscuring the view I would not go too far out of my way to make it happen. If the eclipse had happened today there would be a lot of very disappointed people, as there surely will be in many places on the actual day.

Rented a beach house for a week at Isle of Palms, SC.

This is us exactly. Coming back from Outer Banks and going to Columbia. My mom just sent me a link to more than 100 eclipse-related events going on in Columbia that weekend. Have fun.

I have family in Nashville, so that's where we are going! I can't wait!
