We live in Tennessee, right smack in the middle of the band. Very excited. We have our glasses and have friends traveling here from Virginia. We are having a small eclipse party - heading out on our boat to see the action from the lake. It should be exciting. I hope the weather is great.

Me! I feel like the NASA poster's info was super helpful and reassuring, but I am near phobic about eye stuff. I can't see a thing without glasses or contacts - literally can't see one foot in front of me without them, and it's been like that since I was a kid, so I am very sensitive around anything eye related. I appreciate the eclipse but would rather enjoy it more indirectly.
