New poster. I'm at a downtown multi-lateral. I think if you're there longer than 4 or 5 years you won't be able to get a job elsewhere. They overpay, outlandish benefits, out-dated systems, and insufferable hierarchy and culture.

17.6 years and I am dying to leave. I've had 3 different positions. Just updated my CV and have been sending it around, we'll see what happens.

22 years, same office with basically the same job, different title the last 15 years, different boss. I stay because of the work life balance and can come and go as I please. But I am stuck so even if I wanted to leave, there's probably no where to go and get the same benefits.

i'm embarking on year 8. same position, same (general) responsibilities. my title is irrelevant and doesn't begin to describe what i actually do on a day-to-day basis, though. maybe i'll get new business cards printed up, LOL.

I'm at 6.5 years in current position and was just about to start seriously looking for a new job when my boss (who is retiring next month) promoted me and doubled my salary. New role isn't my dream job or anything but it's a boost I deserve.

Ten years because I'm 61 and wasn't sure I could get another job. I just got a call from a headhunter though! Yay! I'm glad to still be viable.
