What p!nk is doing is lame in third world standards. I started cooking since I was 7. I was already trained how to use fire and knives.

I cook with my sons, 16 mo old in an ergobaby while my 9 year old help me peel and chop using my Cutco knives.

Exactly like Pink! Except for the washer and dryer part, and the fact that Pink has nannies, housekeepers, laundresses and cooks - and someone taking her photo. By aside from that - Pink is just like your mother (except the whole third world thing, too).

Does anyone use "third world" anymore?

And was their a second person holding a camera/phone to document your mother's plight and ready to post it to social media? Do you see the difference here, PP?

Pink is a great singer and a great performer. I can't pretend this is admirable or done for any other reason than publicity.

Publicity is part of the job that supports those kids. So sad you can find nothing but criticism for a woman who's living her life well. She and her children look healthy and happy.

Oh, stop! Publicity - in this case a picture of her sauteing vegetables with a baby strapped to her chest - is NOT the way this amazing singer supports those kids!

Some of you guys are way too slobbering for my taste! Pink is great - I love her - but this was simply stupid and unnecessary.

It is also okay to ask the person taking the picture of you to hold the baby for a moment.

OMG this thread tops all. I sincerely hope I never meet any (ok, most) of you in real life.

^ If your counters can't handle 50 pounds of weight, you need new counters.

Kid on the counter is fine as long as she's a few feet away from the sizzling oil. Baby is too close though. She should at least turn her body away from the stovetop. Or let the other person cook or hold the baby.

I'm picturing the hot oil splattering/crackling from the saucepan.

And what the hec is her other kid doing?? Get off that counter! First off, the counter is not meant to hold your weight, but more importantly, ask someone else to reach something for you!

Same here. She can be present for her kids, multitask, and she does her own cooking. What's not to love?

Women have been standing in front of fire with babies strapped to their chests for millennia. People need to chill out.

Yes! Women have been standing in front of a fire with babies strapped to their chests while someone else takes their picture and posts in on social media for millennia!

Yes! She can put the more mundane aspects of her life on display and withstand the judgement of people who . . . can't. I love her even more for it.
