Much better life than government lawyer or biglaw - way more money than government lawyer but not tons more hours, way less work than biglaw but not that much less salary.

- Recruiting within law firm
- Recruiting for staffing agency
- Went back to school and became a librarian
- Went back to school and became an elementary school teacher
- Became a writer
- Went into wife's family's jewelry business
Goals.
I'm a lawyer turned writer. (Not the bestselling author kind, unfortunately.) I like the work a lot more but sure do sometimes wish I had a lawyer's paycheck. Paying off law school loans on a writer's income makes a person grateful for a well-employed husband, I'll tell you.
