My palate is really quite refined so now I prefer ORGANIC ketchup.

I never really got into ranch, but I love ketchup. My brother on the other hand hates all tomato-based things, including ketchup, but could eat ranch at every meal.

Mmm, sugar. And tomatoes. I could live on it.

These are about the only condiments/dressings I like. I guess that makes me stuck in childhood.

And I think you should have removed yourself from society by your late teens. And yet here you are, continuing to waste everyone's time.

I've never liked ketchup, but suggesting you age out of eating it with fries would be like suggesting you age out of eating vinegar with fries. Outrageous - I'm never giving that up!

I eat both. But I sort of feel like adults should age out of eating kids foods 24/7 that require ketchup and ranch dressing. I have a friend who orders chicken strips everywhere she goes and she's 50. Sure I still eat hot dogs at a BBQ with ketchup, but it's not a regular food in my house.

Alas, OP is just a 30 year old former cheerleader and homecoming queen who can't face the fact that she's ordinary and unremarkable as a 30 year old and is desperately seeking any way to assert her obvious (at least to her) superiority. Unfortunately, these days people don't even notice if She's still in the room. Is she still around?

I prefer Caesar over ranch, so not an issue for me.

Don't really eat fries all that much anymore. But plain or with an aioli, I suppose. Hot dog needs acidic mustard and relish to contrast the fat.

Ketchup is just a way to add unnecessary sugar to your food. It feeds people's sugar addiction.

Ah, yes...dipping your fries in ketchup is gross, but dipping them in mayonnaise is fine. Let me guess, you're the sort of person who thinks grits are trashy, but who will rave about polenta.

Ketchup with burgers and fries and that's pretty much the only time I have ketchup but I would never judge people for having ketchup regardless of their age. What a weird thread.

No. I don't like ranch personally, but hamburgers call for ketchup.

Ranch is awesome. I don't keep ketchup at home, but I'll dip a fry in it if it's available.

Personally, I think it's weird when adults criticize other people about their preferences. Particularly when it comes to something so deeply personal and important as condiments.
