Mini corn dogs.

I'm a picky eater and would eat the two bolded. I would not eat any of the "salads" mentioned above this post or corn dogs. No broccoli slaw, potato salad, macaroni salad, deviled eggs, etc. That's all disgusting (plus especially when it's been sitting outside in the heat - it's food poisoning waiting to happen).

Ew. I am a picky eater and would never touch the bolder items. Gross. Mystery meat.

Ew?

Since you are obviously only 12 years old, you get a pass from the adult picky eater disdain.

What's that? You ARE an adult? Hahahahaha! What an imbecile.

I bring a "salad" of halved cherry tomatoes, corn kernels, diced red onion, diced avocado and black beans, dressed in evoo, lime juice, s/p and cilantro. It can be eaten as a side or as an app with tortilla chips.

To the watermelon, mint feta salad posters, I love the idea of this combo, but doesn't the very watery watermelon start to dissolve the feta so that the whole thing looks milky? Do you just toss it together right before serving?

I love the watermelon mint and feta salad someone posted above.

But if you're looking for something more substantial, try this:

https://food52.com/recipes/12302-portable-pork-sandwich-an-homage-to-my-favorite-purveyor-of-pork-at-the-flea

I make this, and the slaw that goes with it, and buy a bag of rolls, or pita bread. Cheap and tasty!

You are welcome to provide your own food them. I'm cooking for normal adults.

I used to make cold sesame soba noodles with vegetables, but then my kid became allergic to sesame. Now i make yet another pasta salad.

In summer, watermelon and strawberry salad with basil and lime dressing. Recipe from Afro - Vegan cookbook.

I like rice krispy treats, but some of the picky adult eaters might find it too sweet! I think rice krispy treats will hold up and they are a summertime classic.

I accommodate picky kid eaters.
I don't accommodate lame adult picky eaters. Eat the Krispy Treat or not, IDGAF. I'm serving what I want to serve.

Bored already now that school is out?

School's been out since the 90's for me. Just because someone has a preference different from yours doesn't mean they're wrong.

Nope. But most grown adults don't call normal food "disgusting" when they are uber picky.

+1. There is nothing more ridiculous than an adult "picky eater."

I also like a good brownie, sick of cookies and cupcakes.
I want to say a huge bowl of rasberries, black berries and blueberries with a plate of cheeses, but may not be best in heat.

These may look low brow but I have never had any leftovers.

Sounds great to me!!
