I am SOOO confused.
Why weren't you home?
Did you ask neighbor beforehand to accept?
Had you scheduled the delivery the first time (i.e., when you weren't home)?
Did driver just go to neighbor's house b/c you didn't answer the door?
It all comes down to my first question. Why weren't you at home?
If you hadn't asked neighbor ahead of time, "Please accept this on my behalf," you can't be mad at the neighbor. He/she did the best they could do.
If you asked them and specifically told them, "Please take this order, no matter what," then, yes, I'd be annoyed.
