This. How do you think the neighbor knew that OP would be unhappy if the order was wrong? Because she knows that OP gets pissy about every little thing and didn't want OP to take it out on her.

No - not annoyed. I would not take responsibility for a neighbor's perishable items unless they asked me in advance.

Unbelievable.

OP, you're entitled, lazy and rude. Hopefully when you move, you will move next to other people like you, and stay the hell away from us normal people.

No, this thread, in which every poster bashed OP, restores my faith in humanity.

I would be annoyed with the neighbor, you being the neighbor that is annoying and rude.

No, and you sound annoying for asking your neighbor to do this. If my neighbor asked me I'd tell them to F off and be home for their own delivery.

This is like the neighbor on the street who will call and say: "Do you mind picking up Timmy from daycare for me? I'm running a little late."......Sure, no problem, you pick up Timmy. 5 hours later, Timmy is still at your house with no sign of the neighbor.

That isn't you is it, Op?

The neighbor acted like a reasonable person.

OP is entitled and obnoxious.

OP is hanging her head in shame and hasn't come back on this thread.

Was the order refused because it was wrong, or because your neighbor quite rightfully didn't want a fuck ton of your groceries in her house?

I am SOOO confused.

Why weren't you home?
Did you ask neighbor beforehand to accept?
Had you scheduled the delivery the first time (i.e., when you weren't home)?
Did driver just go to neighbor's house b/c you didn't answer the door?

It all comes down to my first question. Why weren't you at home?

If you hadn't asked neighbor ahead of time, "Please accept this on my behalf," you can't be mad at the neighbor. He/she did the best they could do.

If you asked them and specifically told them, "Please take this order, no matter what," then, yes, I'd be annoyed.
