I think it's ridiculous for a 30-something, but I also don't want to be accused of controlling his wardrobe choices. Still, I think it looks so silly and immature. Is this a battle worth fighting?
Hmm, I wonder what his complaints are about you Ms. Perfect?
You know he has plenty of them... and they're probably WAY more related to character defects, than a stupid baseball cap worn backwards.
Although, he probably realizes that characteristics such as tolerance, acceptance consideration & kindness far outweighs being superficial, shallow, judgmental & sanctimonious.
It's ironic that you described his fashion choice & "silly & immature" because that's exactly how you come across in this post. You sound extremely immature, insecure & yes, silly & you certainly seem to care FAR too much about what other people think of you (not of him, of YOU).
Clearly you're worried about what other people will think of YOU for allowing him to dress in such a way.
I msean, why else would you care so much about something so insignificant, especially if it makes him happy?
A word in maturity, unconditional love & compromise... if this is your only complaint about him & he's generally a good guy, then YOU'RE the one who should be taking a hard look in the mirror & getting a character makeover.
Pick better battles.
