Fed contractor working in position classification. However, many of my fed colleagues appear to struggle with proper grammar and syntax.

I do development work for a non-profit, which includes a lot of grant writing and fundraising communications. Unlike many of the pps, I am not a good editor.

THIS.

I work in operations at a non-profit and have become the default office editor.

Same, default editor. I hate it.

Just came on for solidarity. I'm in IR and I love editing, but I do hate rewriting stuff for people who don't care. Hoping to work with some better people in my next job - which would ideally be at State, if it doesn't implode by 2018.

Webster is my spirit animal and Word Crimes is my anthem. This is my day today (kinda NSFW?):

Policy analyst at a small Federal agency. I analyze data and write reports summarizing findings and making recommendations. I also spend a lot if time editing the work of other analysts, but unlike some PPs, I enjoy doing it.
