I think because it is such a well educated county, most people assume things will be handled properly. Everyone is busy sitting in traffic and shuttling kids to and fro.
I think most just assume the county gov't will do the obvious thing. Yet it is proven time and again, that isn't necessarily how is plays out.
Personally I think it tracks back to the ACDC. They set the agenda and I think most homeowners would be surprised at those priorities. Special interests really run the table.

So bogged down in group think, faux egalitarianism, narcissism, and the fetishization of "choice schools." I used to think APS was better than FCPS. Not so sure anymore.
